"Every man owes a part of his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged. No man has a moral right to withhold his support from an organization that is striving to improve conditions within his sphere."

- President Theodore Roosevelt, 1908

Membership in MAJ is an investment in your profession.
Formed in 1962, the founding members of MAJ consisted of a small group of dedicated lawyers who were determined to provide a unified voice for civil justice in the courtrooms of Mississippi. Today, more than 50 years later, the Mississippi Association for Justice has over 600 members dedicated to representing people, not corporations. Our members are committed to protecting the health and safety of Mississippi families, to enhancing consumer protections, and to preserving each and every citizen’s right to trial by jury and access to the courts.
If you feel called to fight for the "little guy," then you will feel right at home in MAJ. Your membership will connect you to colleagues throughout the state who can offer support, knowledge and plenty of advice. Networking and camaraderie are just two of the membership benefits. The resources and services provided through MAJ is nearly limitless, and the end result is you work smarter, more efficiently, and are better prepared to succeed tomorrow.
